Capsule Endoscopy

Capsule endoscopy is a medical procedure used to record internal images of the gastrointestinal tract for use in disease diagnosis. It is a painless non invasive procedure in which the patient swallows a capsule with a light source and a transmitter that transmits images of the gastrointestinal tract to the recorder. It is used for small bowel evaluation.
